The Municipality of Góis won another ECOXXI Green Flag. The award was handed over by ABAE – Associação Bandeira Azul da Europa, on October 27, at a ceremony in which the results of the ECOXXI 2022 candidacies were announced.

The municipality of Góis has been distinguished by ABAE since 2016, thus seeing recognition of the work carried out in building a more sustainable future. Within the scope of the 21 indicators that make up the application, Góis was considered a "Top + Municipality" in the Employment and Sustainable Tourism indicators.

This year, 59 municipalities applied for the Green Flag ECOXXI, of which 53 received recognition as an ECOXXI municipality for having exceeded the percentage of 50% in the score of the respective application.
