The race passed through the trails of Vila de Rei, Proença-a-Nova and Castelo Branco.

The National Marathon Champion, Rodrigo Gomes (kompedal), and Diana Pedrosa (Kiwi Atlantic-Loriña) were the overall winners of MTB Trophy Aldeias do Xisto, which, from 28th to 30th October, crossed the trails of Vila de Rei, Proença-a-Nova and Castelo Branco municipalities.

On the first day, the race started in Vila de Rei. First place on the podium went to Rodrigo Gomes and Diana Pedrosa, who began building towards their final victory from an early stage. They also conquered the highest places on the podium in the remaining brackets: Fábio Santos (Ipoc/Apoc/Bikeinstant) in men's Elites, Rodrigo Gomes (Kompedal) in Master 30, Bruno Gonçalves (BMG - Alumínios PVC) in M40. In M50, Gil Azóia (Róodinhas/Master Vantagem). In the battery-assisted bikes, victory for Spaniard Antonio Verdugo (Kenza Sports Team) in Men's and Goreti Cabreira (Cabreira Solutions) in Women's Ebikes.

The second day of the race took place on the trails of Proença-a-Nova, where Rodrigo Gomes and Diana Pedrosa repeated their victories of the previous day. The placings in the remaining brackets were: João Oliveira (Póvoa Cycling Academy) in Male Elites, Rodrigo Gomes (Kompedal) in Master 30, Bruno Gonçalves (BMG - Alumínios PVC) in M40, Gil Azóia (Róodinhas/Master Vantagem), in M50. In the battery-assisted bikes, victory for Spaniard Antonio Verdugo (Kenza Sports Team) in Men's and Goreti Cabreira (Cabreira Solutions) in Women's Ebikes. With these results, all the participants kept the positions they had earned in the previous stage, in Vila de Rei.

The final stage ran through the Castelo Branco track. Once again, Rodrigo Gomes and Diana Pedrosa were the fastest. These were the remaining winners: Fábio Santos (Apoc/Ipoc/Bikinstant) in men's Elites, Rodrigo Gomes (Kompedal) in Master 30, Bruno Gonçalves (BMG - Alumínios PVC) in M40, Gil Azóia (Róodinhas/Master Vantagem), in M50. In the battery-assisted bikes, victory for Spaniard Antonio Verdugo (Kenza Sports Team) in Men's and Goreti Cabreira (Cabreira Solutions) in Women's Ebikes.

As last year, the race brought together athletes from various regions. The inclusion of the Aldeias do Xisto of Água Formosa (Vila de Rei), Figueira (Proença-a-Nova), Sarzedas and Martim Branco (Castelo Branco) was fundamental to the success of the chosen courses. On the one hand, the villages come alive with the cyclists crossing their characteristic streets, alleys and lanes, and, on the other hand, the participants are captivated by the unique atmosphere they find in these places and promise to return with their families.

MTB Trophy Aldeias do Xisto is organised by ADXTUR - Aldeias do Xisto Tourism Development Agency in partnership with Cabreira Solutions.
