The Ronqueira River Beach underwent a thorough upgrading in its accessibility. It is, therefore, a beach that doesn’t exclude people with reduced mobility or with a visual and/or hearing impairment.

It has its own parking spaces, toilets and changing rooms, an amphibious wheelchair and a lifting platform for access between the beach and the bar, which has been lowered to allow accessibility. The beach also has walking sticks, a walker and includes signs in Portuguese, English and Braille, larger information boards and pictograms, as well as an area for guide dogs and drinking fountains.

There is also a picnic area nearby, with tables and barbecue facilities. And a view of the Great Alva Route.
