With a dam retaining the river water and forming an area in pleasant surroundings for a swim and a sunbathe, Ana de Aviz River Beach is nationally renowned for its exceptional qualities.

The accumulation of river water forms a type of pool with water that is so transparent that the standard shale bed can be seen. The surrounding area has a grassy space which is ideal for relaxation, with the shade and fresh breeze provided by the willows.
