Located in the village of Alvito da Beira, on the right bank of the river Alvito, in a green valley where traditional architecture is still prized, this beach offers everything needed for a swim or to relax and rest.

It is the starting point for the "Rota dos Recantos e Encantos” walk, through old irrigation channels. The walk leads to Cova do Alvito, a village with no permanent inhabitants, but beautifully preserved. A short distance away lies the Cerejeira River Beach.
