The municipality received this distinction for the fourth consecutive year.
Góis Town Council was in Coimbra on 27 November 2019 for the awarding of the green flag for family policies, given at the ceremony by the Observatory of Family-Friendly Municipalities (OAFR).
This local authority was, for the fourth consecutive year, distinguished by the OAFR for adopting effective policies to support families.
The distinction, awarded to 76 of the 141 candidates, recognises the local authorities' capacity for intervention, encouraging and pursuing policies to support families and promoting the adoption of new measures.
