Apimel won 3 of the prizes awarded in the National Honey Competition organised every year by the National Fair of Agriculture, which had its largest participation ever this year.

• Organic Honey: Gold Medal
• Heather Honey: Bronze Medal
• Eucalyptus Honey: Honourable Mention

The prizes were awarded at a blind tasting held on 8 May in Santarém at the National Exhibition Centre in a competition organised by the National Agriculture Fair and the Portuguese Federation of Beekeepers.
