On 22 February, Gardunha Viva - Associação de Montnahismo do Fundão invites you once again to discover the River Zêzere with the first edition of 2026 of DownRiver by canoe, between Barco and Silvares, in the municipality of Fundão.
More than just a sporting activity, the 1st Descida do Rio Zêzere is an opportunity to discover the territory from the water, at a pace where excitement and contemplation go hand in hand.

- 08:00 – Meet at the Gardunha Viva headquarters
- 10:00 – Start of the descent on the Zêzere River
- 11:30 a.m. – Refreshments
- 1:00 p.m. – Arrival in Silvares
- 1:30 p.m. – Social lunch
- 4:30 p.m. – Return to Fundão
The organisers will provide the necessary logistics, including transport to collect participants' vehicles. Registration costs €30, including equipment and refreshments, or €10 for those who have their own equipment, and should be made through Gardunha Viva.
