The meandering landscapes of the Zêzere River that embellish the  Schist Walking Trail of Janeiro de Baixo  will once again be the setting for another edition of the Easter initiative taking place in Janeiro de Baixo.

Organised by the Parish Council, the event will take place on 4 April and will provide an opportunity to get to know the surroundings of the Aldeia do Xisto of Janeiro de Baixo and provide an opportunity for its participants to gather together. 

PROGRAMME

• 08:30 am – Meet at the Picnic Area (next to the River Beach)
• 09:00 am – Performance by the Bombos de Dornelas do Zêzere
• 09:30 am – Initial briefing and distribution of food supplies
• 09:30 am – Entertainment with the artist António Vaz
• 10:00 am – Start of the walk (PR4-PPS | 9.7 km | circular route)
• 12.30 pm – Social lunch (Largo da Liga, next to the church)
• 3.00 pm – Performance by the Rancho de Pampilhosa da Serra
• 4.00 pm – Tasting of Filhó Espichada
• 4.00 pm – Continuation of musical entertainment
