ACTIVAR continues to enrich its cultural and tourist programme: in addition to promoting the Talasnal by Moonlight activity throughout the year, it now promotes two editions of Coimbra by Moonlight, in September (5th) and October (3rd).
The night tour, starting at 8:30 p.m. at Largo da Portagem, invites participants to discover the city in a different way, climbing up to the University of Coimbra and Penedo da Saudade. Along the way, there will be stops at statues and monuments, accompanied by curiosities and stories about Portuguese personalities... and more.
Towards the end of the experience, participants will also be able to enjoy a tasting of Crúzio, one of the city's typical flavours. The return to the starting point is scheduled for around 11:30 pm.
The activity is accessible to those over 6/8 years old, covers about 7 km in a circular route and is of easy to medium difficulty, with several stops that make the climb easier.
Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended, as well as water. Registration, with insurance included, has an associated cost and a discount for children. It must be done through ACTIVAR [link to the form on the right].
