On July 26 at 7:30 PM, the Barrocal Park, in the municipality of Castelo Branco, hosts a new edition of the “Clandestine Concert”, organized by SOUL – Speaking Out Loud, with pianist and composer Hélder Bruno.
In a unique geological setting, the musician will perform pieces from his upcoming album, “Ether Sculptures”, scheduled for release in June 2025. A free, open-air concert set amidst a granite landscape sculpted over millions of years.
In this rare fusion of art, geology, and emotion, the invitation is to listen deeply and contemplate — under the open sky and in the silence of stone.
About the artist:
Born in Coimbra and a lifelong resident of Lousã, Hélder Bruno holds a PhD in Ethnomusicology. He is a researcher, composer, and performer whose work explores the connections between music, identity, and emotion. In 2022, he received the Best World Music Performance award at the International Portuguese Music Awards.
