Handicraft, hot white cornbread and music form the ingredients for a day full of entertainment in the highest of the Aldeias do Xisto. 
On July 26, Pena hosts an event that showcases local products and traditional crafts. The program features live craftsmanship with an embroidery workshop, showcooking of trout pastries (filhós de truta), hearty mountain soup cooked in an iron pot during a communal lunch, regional delicacies, and plenty of music.
