The Ferraria de São João Homeowner’s Association is a non-profit entity, created to showcase the village’s incredible local natural resources the people (know-how), the natural and man-made heritage, the cultural practices.

Mission:
• recover local traditions;
• boost the local economy through the provision of services;
• sustainably develop local tourism.

In Aldeia Viva, the adoption of cork oaks and the creation of the ZPA - Village Protection Area are some of the initiatives that the Homeowner’s Association promotes and that contribute to the achievement of the objectives it has set itself.
