From the North
IC8 gateway
On the A1 take the exit 10 to Pombal and the IC8, towards Castelo Branco. The IC8 route leads to a considerable number of Schist Villages. For more info we recommend having a look at the interactive map.
Coimbra gateway
Through the Coimbra gateway, via A1, you can go to Benfeita, in Arganil county, following the IP3 up to exit 13. If you’d rather start your trip through the Schist Villages of Lousã, then you must take the N17 in Coimbra and then the N342 towards Lousã.
