Foz do Cobrão Schist Walking Trail
Foz do Cobrão walking trail is a loop with the total distance of 11.3 km that can be done in both directions.
The start/finish point is located next to the main church of Foz do Cobrão Schist Village, on a viewpoint over the Ocreza river.
Along this river you may see Griffons flying.
One of the route highlights is "Portas (gates) do Vale Mourão", in the UNESCO classified geo-site of GeoPark Naturtejo, a site of rare natural beauty.
This is an undoubtedly beautiful walking trail where each climb is worth doing considering the views you get from the top.
