Until April 12th, the Penela City Council and the different local organizations will bring to the municipality a cultural program that will go through the different villages and towns in the municipality — "Cultural Winter 2009".

Cartography exhibition between the 10th-31st March in the lobby of the Lousã Main Library.
It is an exhibition that combines mapping knowledge with configurations.
First MTB Trail in the Schist Villages

On the 14th March opens the first Mountain Bike Trail in the Schist Village of Ferraria de S. João. This is also the first infra-structure of its kind in Portugal.
